A local source for in-demand skills

Each year more than 7,500 immigrants arrive in our province through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Workers. Along with the zeal to start life anew, they bring skills, education, work experience and English ability.

How to hire new Manitobans

• Manitoba Labour and Immigration has in place a network of immigrant employment agencies. You can contact them to find people with the skills you need.
• Participate in job fairs. These are advertised on our Events page.
• Post job vacanies on Canada Job Bank.
• Advertise in ethnic newspapers and contact ethnocultural organizations.
• Manitoba Immigration and Multiculturalism may help with employee screening, as well as with programs to improve employee English.
