ENTRY Program: your first step to success
ENTRY Program is a free series of classes that helps newcomers with their English skills and with adjusting to life in Manitoba. You should participate in the ENTRY Program as soon as you can after arriving in Winnipeg.

Topics covered include employment, getting around, law and health.
Time and location
ENTRY is located in downtown Winnipeg. There are various classtimes to meet everyone's schedule.
Registration
You must go to the ENTRY office between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Thursday. The office is on the 4th floor of 259 Portage Avenue in downtown Winnipeg.
Bring one of the following: landing paper, permanent residence card, provincial nominee program letter of acceptance, or refugee claimant paper. Bring your
Manitoba Health Card.
Participants must be 18 years of age or have completed high school.
ENTRY provides
- in-depth orientation on topics important to all newcomers
- opportunity to develop a social network of friends and professional contacts
- opportunity to gain Canadian work experience as a volunteer or interpreter
