Audiologists and speech-language pathologists diagnose, evaluate and treat human communication disorders including hearing, speech, language and voice disorders. Audiologists and speech-language pathologists are employed in hospitals, community and public health centres, extended care facilities, day clinics, rehabilitation centres and educational institutions, or may work in private practice.
These professions are regulated in Manitoba by the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association.
Note: The association conducts the licensing process in English only. Thus, all requested documents must be translated into English.

Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association annual membership fee is C$325.
* Once you have been approved for provisional registration you must work under the supervision of a fully registered member of the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association for up to one year.
