Denturists take impressions to make upper and lower, complete or partial dentures. Denturists also adjust, repair or rebase removable dentures. Most denturists work in private practice.
This profession is regulated in Manitoba by the Denturist Association of Manitoba.
Note: The association conducts the licensing process in English only. Thus, all requested documents must be translated into English.

STEP 1: Contact the Denturist Association of Manitoba and tell them you are an internationally educated denturist and want to receive information on how to become licensed to practise in Manitoba.

STEP 2: Complete the Denturist Association of Manitoba application form.
You must submit the following:

STEP 3: Complete a two-year internship in Manitoba under a licensed denturist.
STEP 4: Complete theoretical and practical examinations.
STEP 5: When all requirements have been met and fees paid, you will be licensed to practise as a denturist in Manitoba.
Additional information
Annual membership fee is C$1,500. This includes a C$200 licence fee plus professional liability insurance.
Internship fee is C$200.
The theoretical and practical examinations are offered once a year, usually in the fall. The total fee is C$1,000.
