Pharmacists work in hospitals, community practice, pharmaceutical industries, government administration and wholesale trade. They monitor drug therapy, counsel patients on proper drug use, prepare and dispense drugs, provide information on drugs, conduct drug reviews and do research and marketing.
The pharmacy profession is regulated in Manitoba by the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association.
The Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association conducts the licensing process in English only. Thus, all documents must be translated into English.

STEP 3: Complete the the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada application form to have your credentials assessed.
You must submit the following:

STEP 4: Complete the evaluating examination.
STEP 5: Complete both the oral and written parts of the qualifying examination.
STEP 6: Complete the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association application form to obtain a practising licence.

STEP 7: If required, complete an internship and subsequent jurisprudence examination.
STEP 8: When all requirements have been met and fees paid, you will be licensed to practise as a pharmacist in Manitoba.
Additional information
Annual licence fee is $715.
The evaluating examination fee is $500. It is offered summer and winter.
The qualifying examination written exam is $390. The qualifying examination oral exam is $1,475. They are offered in the spring and fall.
You may write the jurisprudence examination after completing 120 hours of your internship. The fee is $165.
