Podiatrists are medically trained health-care professionals who specialize in treating disorders of the feet and lower limbs. They diagnose diseases, deformities and injuries of the foot. They also treat foot pathologies using physical therapy, medication and surgery. They work in private practice, clinics and hospitals.
This profession is regulated in Manitoba by the College of Podiatrists of Manitoba.
Note: The college conducts the licensing process in English only. Thus, all documents must be translated into English.

STEP 4: When all requirements have been met and fees paid, you will be licensed to practise as a podiatrist in Manitoba.

Annual membership fees are C$2,000.
Annual malpractice insurance fees start at C$1,000.
The fee for the entrance examination is C$300.
