
The Manitoba government's Credentials Recognition Program provides financial assistance to immigrant professionals as they proceed through the licensing process set by their profession's regulatory body.
NOTE: The Credentials Recognition Program does not assess people's education or experience. Rather, it provides financial help to professionals as they are being assessed by a regulatory body.
Financial assistance
The Credentials Recognition Program may provide clients with 50 per cent of approved costs, up to a maximum of $2,250, to offset the cost of assessment fees, books and exams.
Work experience
The program helps clients get necessary experience by offering employers a financial incentive to provide full-time work related to the client's education.
Who is eligible
The Credentials Recognition Program is only for regulated professions. It is not for people in trades or in non-regulated professions.
